Course Aims

The aim of this course is to give learners the essential knowledge and skills required to deliver ‘person centred’ care and support in order to promote the service user’s rights to make choices about their own care.

This course is aimed at care workers in a health and social environment and is considered a corner stone to providing high quality care that empowers service users to make personal choices and allows them to be placed at the centre of their care.

Learners are to undertake written assessment.

Course Content

On successful completion of this course the learner will be qualified to:
